Last week we had a big focus on ANZAC Day in Room 15. We read lots of sophisticated picture books, went to the Museum, wrote letters as a soldier, watched video clips and listened to music written especially for the ANZAC soldiers.
We decided to commemorate the soldiers and this significant day by producing our own ANZAC Day Silhouette. We all decided that the morning was appropriate as this is when they first landed in Galipolli. Poppies had to be present as these were the first flowers that grew when the soldiers had been killed.

ReplyDeleteit was kinda har d to find the photo online and then do a draft out of it, soon after the teacher check it we do it on black paper. ^-^
