Road to Emmaus Liturgy

Yesterday we again got to witness the talent of the students in our school when it comes to the Arts. This time with the Road to Emmaus Liturgy.
It started off very somber having Jesus died on the cross and no one knew where he was.

You can hear Unique, Lorielle, Bernadette, Delroes and Sarriseynn singing this beautiful song. This is how our liturgy started.



Jesus meets two of his disciples on the way. They end up talking for the whole journey. The disciples do not know it is him though. They ask him to come in for some dinner. 


They have seen this before and begin to realise who he is and what is happening. He then shows them the nail marks in his hands. They run and tell their friends. 

Jesus has risen! Alleluia!

    We worked really hard and it paid off. I felt really nervous yet excited. One of my best days of my life.
