In Room 15 the experiment was about the water cycle.
Then we took part in our experiment. This was to help us to see the different stages of the water cycle and how it works. Miss Mules boiled the water in a jug. This acted as the water been heated by the sun. We were able to see the evaporation as well. Then we poured the boiled water into a jar. We pretended this was the ocean. A small cup was placed in the water, this was to act as the collection point.
We then put glad wrap over the jar. This acted as the atmosphere. It trapped the evaporation and turned it from a gas back into a liquid which was our condensation phase. Then we placed an ice pack on top of the glad wrap to help the water to melt and create precipitation which fell into the cup.
After 20 minutes we checked our experiments and made a prediction of how much water we thought would be in the cup.
Below are the results.
I learn't that some of the water from the sea or ocean evaporate into steam and turns into clouds. *_*
ReplyDeleteI learnt that there are four parts of the water cycle evaporation, condensation, collection and precipatation
ReplyDeleteI learnt that when the rain comes the sun evaporate the water from the oceans.
ReplyDeleteI learnt that water evaporates from theo ceans by the sun heating it up. It turns into a gas and goes into the atmosphere.
ReplyDeletei learn't that water can evaporate, I was very inspired.
ReplyDeleteI really learned about the water cycle
ReplyDeleteman i loved the experiment.
ReplyDeletei did not know that the water goes into the ground
awesome i cant wait to learn more! i learnt about the water cycle
ReplyDeletei loved learing about the watercycle. its so amazing how god made the earth
ReplyDeleteThis was an amazing experience.
ReplyDeleteHi Miss Mules I leaned about when the sun hits the water it starts to sink and its called water viopr
ReplyDeleteI learnt that the water cycle is a wonderful thing to learn more about the rain and how it rain
ReplyDeleteI learnt about then we took part experiment.
ReplyDeleteSteams turn in to Clouds.
ReplyDeleteWater Cycle
You can drink water
Now i know what evaporation
ReplyDeletei love the experiment
ReplyDelete:) :) :)
from nate
now I know what condensation means
ReplyDelete:) :)
it was so cool learn about the water cycle and evaporation is my favorite part
