Room 15 has gone timestable crazy!!

This term for maths we have been learning about the importance of knowing our basic facts especially our multiplication!

On Tuesday we were able to play a game called Salute. It is played between 3 players. 2 players put a card on their forehead without looking at the number. The third player has to tell them what the answer is by multiplying the 2 numbers. The 2 players then face eachother and have to work out what they have on their head as they know the answer and can see what is on their partners head. Here they are either doing division e.g. 72 ÷ 8 = or turning it into a timestable 8 x ?  = 72.

The first person to get the answer right is the winner.

Parents, this is such an easy game to play at home with them and a fun way to learn their division facts or reversibility strategy.

Check out how much fun they had!
